BARROW RETURNS FROM GABON

August 19, 2026

President Adama Barrow returned home Tuesday following his visit to Gabon, where he joined President Brice Oligui Nguema and the Gabonese people for their 66th Independence Anniversary celebrations.

President Barrow also took time to meet more than 500 Gambians living in Gabon. He heard their concerns and promised to help make national identity documents more accessible to Gambians living elsewhere in Africa.
