STRENGTHENING TIES, OPENING OPPORTUNITIES

In Conakry, President Barrow and President Mamadi Doumbouya discussed cooperation in areas including infrastructure, transport, security, energy and culture. They also agreed to explore new opportunities, particularly in the energy sector. A joint communiqué was signed after the talks.
The two leaders also discussed regional peace and stability, and President Doumbouya accepted an invitation to visit The Gambia.
For The Gambia, good relations with our neighbours matter. They can open doors for trade, investment, security cooperation and opportunities that benefit ordinary Gambians.
