BARROW TAKES DEVELOPMENT TO THE PEOPLE AS POWER SUPPLY IMPROVES

President Adama Barrow’s 19-day Meet the People Tour is underway, beginning yesterday with a visit to the Ndungu Kebbeh Cold Storage Facility and the first general meeting at Passy Chally. The nationwide programme combines direct community engagement with visits to development projects across the country.

Meanwhile, Information Minister Dr. Ismaila Ceesay says electricity supply has significantly stabilised, with three additional generating units totaling 24 megawatts expected from Senegal by the end of October.

Politically, Ceesay also highlighted the expanding alliance supporting President Barrow, including the recent addition of Professor Sidat Yaffa and his movement.

With December 5 approaching, the tour brings the government’s record, ongoing projects and community concerns directly into the national conversation.
