BARROW RETURNS TO THE REGIONS FOR MORE ROAD INAUGURATIONS AND PUBLIC ENGAGEMENTS

October 21, 2026

Barely two days after concluding his 19-day nationwide Meet the People Tour, President Adama Barrow is returning to the regions for more development activities and public engagements.

Today, the President will attend the NPP mega rally in Allunhari.

Tomorrow, Thursday, he will inaugurate the Basse Manneh Kunda–Demba Kunda–Numuyel road in the Upper River Region, followed by a public meeting at Demba Kunda.

On Saturday, Barrow will inaugurate the Kiang Kabada road in the Lower River Region before meeting communities at Sibito.

The renewed engagements reflect the President’s continued emphasis on infrastructure development and direct contact with Gambian communities.
