President Adama Barrow has shown his support by purchasing and donating 1,000 tickets for Gambian fans. The President and First Lady are also expected to be at the stadium to cheer on the national team.
This is bigger than football. It is one of those moments when Gambians can put politics aside, come together and rally behind the national colours.
So today, let’s fill the stadium, raise the Gambian flag and give the Scorpions the support they need.
