SALAGI GEARS UP TO WELCOME PRESIDENT BARROW

Preparations are well underway in Salagi ahead of President Adama Barrow’s visit to the newly completed Salagi Senior Secondary School on Wednesday, 14 October 2026, at 3:00 p.m., as part of his nationwide Meet the People Tour.

Community members are undertaking an extensive cleaning and mobilization exercise to prepare for the President’s visit.

Taking part in the preparations are Deputy Speaker Hon. Seedy S.K. Njie; Minister of Public Service Delivery Hon. Baboucar Buoye; Minister of Energy Hon. Nani Juwara; Minister of Trade Hon. Mod Ceesay; former Communications Minister Dr. Amadou Scattred Janneh; and other community leaders and residents.

The newly completed school marks a significant investment in education and brings valuable opportunities to Salagi and surrounding communities.

As Wednesday approaches, Salagi looks forward to welcoming President Barrow and celebrating this important milestone.
