During the ongoing Meet the People Tour, the President also announced that contracts have been awarded for the final phase of electrification for remaining communities in Central River Region.
The constitutionally mandated Tour continues to provide communities an opportunity to engage the President directly on their needs and the impact of government policies.
With December 5 approaching, development, public services and economic opportunity remain important issues in the wider national political debate.
