JABANG WELCOMES BARROW AS PRESIDENT SPOTLIGHTS ROADS AND LOCAL INDUSTRIES
October 16, 2026
Earlier, the President inspected two important road projects covering nearly 14 kilometres, connecting communities around Busumbala, Old Yundum, Farato and Bafuloto.
He also visited two Gambian manufacturing enterprises, ARIM and SoFax Furniture, highlighting local innovation, entrepreneurship and job creation.
At ARIM, young Gambians are manufacturing agricultural and construction equipment, demonstrating the country’s growing technical capabilities.
These visits underscore the importance of better roads, stronger local industries and opportunities for Gambian workers.
Today, President Barrow continues his engagements with a general meeting scheduled in Bijilo, bringing his development-focused tour closer to more communities.
