GRAND ALLIANCE EXPANDS AS SCORPIONS WIN

Faal follows Mama Kandeh and the GDC into the coalition, marking another significant political realignment ahead of December 5. President Adama Barrow also renewed his appeal to UDP leader Ousainu Darboe, whom he calls his political “father,” to join the Grand Alliance before it is too late.
There was also celebration in football. The Scorpions defeated Somalia 2–1 on Friday in their AFCON qualifier at Independence Stadium, with President Barrow attending after purchasing 1,000 tickets for supporters.
The Grand Alliance is expanding, and the Scorpions are winning. December 5 is firmly in sight.
