While the opposition is still discussing how to select a candidate, President Adama Barrow and the NPP continue to engage Gambians with concrete programmes and new initiatives.

Last week, the NPP launched its 2026 Manifesto, Nine-Point Plan, and a range of digital platforms, including AskBarrowAI, multilingual websites, and accessibility tools designed to make information available in local languages and Sign Language.

The President also presided over the USET Convocation Ceremony, reaffirming Government’s commitment to education, science, technology, and skills development for young Gambians.

In addition, the NPP has strengthened its grassroots structures across the country through the distribution of vehicles and motorcycles to regional and constituency representatives to improve outreach and coordination.

While coalition discussions continue, the NPP says its focus remains on development, service delivery, innovation, and direct engagement with the Gambian people.
