BARROW’S TOUR HIGHLIGHTS DEVELOPMENT AND LOCAL MANUFACTURING IN WEST COAST REGION

October 14, 2026

President Adama Barrow received enthusiastic welcomes across Foni yesterday as his Meet the People Tour continued.

He inspected the Kandunku agricultural dykes project and Bwiam General Hospital, while engaging communities in Bulanjor and Bwiam.

The President also visited Baby Binta’s diaper production facility in Banjulunding, highlighting the importance of local manufacturing and private enterprise.

Today, Barrow continues to Kombo, where he will visit Salagi Senior Secondary School, inaugurate a water storage tank in Brikama, inspect road construction and visit Lotus Industries in Jambur.

These engagements demonstrate the administration’s focus on infrastructure, agriculture, healthcare and enterprise development.

As December 5 approaches, Gambians have much to consider about the country’s development.
