BARROW SPOTLIGHTS EDUCATION, WATER SUPPLY AND LOCAL INDUSTRY IN KOMBO

October 15, 2026

From classrooms to water infrastructure and manufacturing, President Adama Barrow’s engagements in Kombo yesterday placed several key development sectors in the spotlight.

The programme featured Salagi Senior Secondary School, the 750-cubic-metre elevated water storage tank in Brikama, and Lotus Industries in Jambur, highlighting investments in education, water supply and local manufacturing.

The Brikama–Kassa Kunda–Nyofelleh road project also featured, underscoring the importance of better transport connections for communities and businesses.

Today, the tour continues with engagements in Busumbala and Old Yundum, including road projects and an agricultural equipment manufacturing facility.

For communities across Kombo, the real measure of progress is increasingly visible in the schools, roads, water facilities and businesses shaping their everyday lives.
